The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a person for attacking a police patrol workforce in Eke-Awka market, Awka, the Anambra state capital on Monday, October 11.
It was gathered that when the suspect sighted the police patrol automobile, he introduced out his cutlass and different harmful weapons and began chasing the officers, shouting “go back home, today is sit-at-home in Biafra Land, go home and observe the day.”
An eyewitness who spoke to Tribune Online mentioned that the suspect appeared to be mentally unstable.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, mentioned one suspect was arrested at Eke Awka for attacking a police convoy on patrol.
